First Saturday Volunteer Days

We are grateful you are considering volunteering with the FCS collective. FCS coordinates volunteer projects on the first Saturdays of each month. These projects are open to individuals, families or groups. Projects are varied based on volunteer skills and change seasonally. The projects for 2012 are as follows:

Saturday, February 4th

• light painting project
• sorting inventory at South Atlanta Marketplace
• host side walk sale for South Atlanta Marketplace
• bicycle repair with South Atlanta Bike Shop – skilled volunteers needed

Saturday, March 3rd

• yard work for seniors
• sorting inventory at South Atlanta Marketplace
• construction of a “book nook” at the South Atlanta Marketplace – skilled volunteers needed
• host side walk sale for South Atlanta Marketplace
• bicycle repair with South Atlanta Bike Shop – skilled volunteers needed

Saturday, April 7th

• community clean-up in partnership with South Atlanta Civic League
• sorting inventory at South Atlanta Marketplace
• host side walk sale for South Atlanta Marketplace
• bicycle repair with South Atlanta Bike Shop – skilled volunteers needed

Saturday, May 5th

All projects begin at 9am at Community Grounds Café at 1297 Jonesboro Road.
