What happens when you bring together local food, music, small businesses, community partners, and people passionate about South Atlanta?
A joyful celebration of community and connection.
That’s exactly what filled Resonant Studios in Historic South Atlanta on April 25 during the 4th Annual Young Professionals Board Spring Fundraiser: Celebration of South Atlanta.

From the energy of the Carver High School Mighty Marching Panthers Band to the incredible local food, vendors, and creatives, the evening reflected the heart and vibrancy of the South Atlanta community. Seeing families, community leaders, and first-time supporters gathered together was especially meaningful.
DJ SVX kept the party going while guests connected with local vendors and partners, including Butter Me Up by JRena, Glaciers Italian Ice, Daily Pressed, Grant Park Parents Network, Hudson & Alphonse, Kyle Carlock Creations, The Praise House Project, Radicle Body Work, The Tipsy Flower Pot, Tocayo Sunwear, The Mad Olive, and Tacos Don Pacho ATL.
For many attendees, this was their first introduction to FCS and our mission. President Marvin Nesbitt, Jr. shared about the work happening across South Atlanta, thanked supporters for being part of the vision, and expressed hope that this celebration will continue as an annual tradition for years to come.
A huge thank you goes to the FCS Young Professionals Board for their hard work behind the scenes, whose efforts helped raise over $30,000 to directly support FCS’s Economic Vitality work in Historic South Atlanta and Thomasville Heights.
This event was a true reflection of the energy, creativity, and heart that define our Young Professionals Board. From securing sponsorships and selling tickets to coordinating logistics, the team made it all happen with enthusiasm and excellence.
We are also deeply grateful to our sponsors for their partnership and support:
Brasfield & Gorrie, Barrel Real Estate, Kaiser Permanente, Self-Help Credit Union, Trinity Church, 755 Restaurant, Centennial Yards, Impact Church, and Purpose Built Communities.
