As the weather cools and the vibrant colors of fall arrive, it’s the perfect time for our cherished Breakfast on the Block event! This annual gathering in Historic South Atlanta allows us to reconnect, celebrate community achievements, and recognize the incredible people who help our neighborhood thrive.
This year’s event was particularly special as we honored two remarkable award recipients. Ms. Maggie McCullom received the Florida Ellis Community Champion Award for her dedication and commitment to our community, embodying the spirit of service that inspires us all. The FCS Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Haygood family, who have invested countless hours to nurture Historic South Atlanta, making a lasting impact on the lives of so many.
Breakfast on the Block is more than a meal—it’s a celebration of unity, resilience, and shared dreams for our neighborhood. It’s a reminder of the power of neighboring and how we can achieve so much together.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and continues to support our mission in big and small ways every day. Your contributions make Historic South Atlanta a place where all can flourish.
