At FCS, we often say that we “run on relationships.” It’s more than a slogan; it’s the heart of how transformation happens. Strong neighborhoods are built not in isolation, but through collaboration, trust, and shared purpose. That’s why partnerships are at the very core of our work in Historic South Atlanta and Thomasville Heights.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been celebrating some of the incredible partners who walk alongside us in this journey. Each one highlights a different way that partnerships help create healthier, more vibrant communities:
- Grady’s Mobile Health Clinic brings essential healthcare directly into the neighborhood, meeting people where they are and removing barriers to access.
- United Way, through the Thomasville Heights Financial Achievement Club, equips neighbors with tools for long-term financial stability and growth, made possible with support from PNC Bank.
- Urban Recipe helps lead our neighborhood food co-ops, sending trucks loaded with fresh groceries every other week and creating spaces where dignity, community, and healthy food access go hand-in-hand.
- Jimmy Wright, President of Wright’s Market, has been a trusted partner since the launch of Carver Market, offering expertise, affordable groceries, and a vision for how local stores can change communities.
- Pinnacle Bank partners with us to build needed affordable housing that strengthens communities.
Each of these partnerships reflects what we know to be true: when we come together as neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, and institutions, our collective impact is far greater than what we could achieve alone.
We are grateful for every organization, leader, and neighbor who invests their time, resources, and vision into building equitable neighborhoods alongside us.
